soliton-like pulses in the excitonic spectral region of semiconductors;
excitonic self-induced transparency.
- Ultrafast optical switching in a semiconductor nonlinear
directional coupler; modelling of resonant soliton switches and logic
gates; optical packet switching in TDM networks
- Optical Bloch oscillations and Landau-Zener tunnelling
in waveguide arrays
