The model is solvable via Bethe Ansatz only in the single impurity limit. For more than one impurity exact solution is not possible. In order to gain a deeper insight into the physical behaviour of the model we choose a unitary transformation method, obtaining the effective Hamiltonian of the one dimensional periodic Anderson model. The unitary transformation is calculated up to infinite order, thus this is an exact transformation. |
